Despite the rainy January weather impeding outdoor enjoyment, the enticing bay views and picturesque surroundings hinted at summer breakfasts in the garden.La Roseraie's excellent breakfast was a highlight, setting a high standard for similar establishments. The proximity to local amenities like the beach and restaurants, as well as the added convenience of free bike hire for exploring the nearby Île d’Aix, added to the hotel's allure.With a reasonable breakfast cost of €8 per person and accommodating staff fluent in English, La Roseraie strikes a fine balance between affordability and luxury. For travelers seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to local attractions, this hotel comes highly recommended. The ideal mix of comfort, convenience, and historical charm makes La Roseraie a solid choice for those looking to explore the beauty of the French coast.
